RESOLUTION NO. 2008-201
APPROVING PROPOSAL FOR BOCCE BALL
COURTS AT PLYMOUTH CREEK CENTER
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Park and Recreation Advisory Commission has reviewed and
recommended that the bocce ball proposal for the Plymouth Creek site be approved; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has also reviewed and concurred with
this recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth City Council has reviewed said recommendation and finds the
proposal to be a good improvement to the Plymouth park system; and
WHEREAS, Home Depot Corporation will fund and constrict said bocce ball project,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the Director of Parks and Recreation is authorized to
proceed with the development of up to six bocce ball courts at the Plymouth Creek
Activity Center.
Adopted by the City Council on June 24, 2008.
