HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2008-178CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2008-178 AWARD CONTRACT 28' AVENUE LIFT STATION PROJECT CITY PROJECT NO. 8108 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 28th Avenue Lift Station Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Contractor Total Base Bid Engineering Constriction & Innovations, Inc. $362,890.00 Lametti and Sons, Inc. $368,771.00 Graham Penn -Co Constriction, Inc. $374,343.00 Geislinger and Sons, Inc. $450,565.00 Gridor Constriction, Inc. $470,722.00 WHEREAS, it appears that Engineering Constriction & Innovations, of St. Paul, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract for the bid with Engineering Constriction & Innovations, of St. Paul, Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth for the 28th Avenue Lift Station Project according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $362,890. FURTHERMORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the fiinding for this project shall be from the Sewer Fund in the amount of $525,000. Adopted by the City Council on May 27, 2008.
