RESOLUTION NO. 2008-172
ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF A VEHICLE FOR
THE POLICE SWAT TEAM FROM THE PLYMOUTH CRIME
AND FIRE PREVENTION FUND
WHEREAS, the Police Department's SWAT team could use a new primary response
vehicle ordered and equipped to meet their special needs; and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Crime and Fire Prevention Fund raised fiinds to purchase a
vehicle for use by the Police Department's SWAT team and as previously approved in concept by
the City Council on May 8, 2007, paid for the initial costs of purchasing and outfitting such a
vehicle; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the donation of a vehicle for use by the
Police Department as a primary vehicle for its SWAT team from the Plymouth Crime and Fire
Prevention Fund.
