RESOLUTION NO. 2008-140
APPROVAL OF HOT MIX ASPHALT BIDS FOR 2008
WHEREAS, the City Council has given budget approval for the purchase of hot mix asphalt
materials for 2008; and
WHEREAS, the City has prepared specifications, advertised, received bids, and opened bids on
April 4, 2008; and
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that we accept the bids from Commercial Asphalt
Company, C. S. McCrossan Constriction Inc., and Midwest Asphalt Corporation and that the supplier
utilized will be the one with the lowest price per ton after adding the cost per mile ($2.75) to pick up
the hot mix asphalt.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED, that the fiinding will come from the maintenance division budgets,
primarily the Street Division (101-1610-6310), but also Park Maintenance and the Sewer and Water
Divisions.
Adopted by the City Council on April 22, 2008.
