RESOLUTION NO. 2008-135
AUTHORIZING PAYMENT FOR PURCHASE
THAT MAY EXCEED $50,000
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth routinely uses an outside resource, RMR Services, Inc. to
assist with utility meter reading services; and
WHEREAS, according to the City of Plymouth City Charter, the City Council must approve all
purchases that exceed $50,000; and
WHEREAS, the cost of this service for 2008 is estimated to be $53,500; and
WHEREAS, the estimated expenditure was accounted for in the City Council -approved 2008
City of Plymouth Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, to authorize a payment estimated to be in excess of
$50,000 to RMR Services, Inc. for meter reading services.
