RESOLUTION NO. 2008-134
ACCEPTING DONATION OF MONEY FROM
THE PLYMOUTH CRIME AND FIRE PREVENTION FUND
AND THE MINNESOTA RESERVE OFFICER ASSOCIATION
FOR THE PURCHASE OF FOUR TASERS
WHEREAS, the Police Department uses tasers when responding to various potentially
dangerous situations; and
WHEREAS, two non-profit agencies, the Plymouth Crime and Fire Prevention Fund and
the Minnesota Reserve Officer Association, have each donated $2,310 for the purchase of
additional taser units for the Police Department.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH CITY
COUNCIL that the donation of money from the Plymouth Crime and Fire Prevention
Fund and the Minnesota Reserve Officer Association for the purchase of four tasers is
hereby adopted.
Adopted by the City Council on April 22, 2008.
