Home My WebLink AboutCity Council Resolution 2008-129CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2008-129 APPROVING MILLENNIUM GARDEN ARTWORK WHEREAS, the Millennium Garden was designed to host a number of authentic pieces of artwork such as sculptures; and WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has been raising money for the last five years through various means for the purchase of artwork and other improvements at the Garden, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL that the Director of Parks and Recreation is authorized to procure a sculpture for the Millennium Garden with a cost not to exceed $40,000, and FURTHER, that $55,000 is authorized to be transferred from the Millennium Garden reserve fiind to the Phase II Millennium Garden constriction project and the 2008 budget shall be amended accordingly. Adopted by the City Council on April 8, 2008.
