RESOLUTION NO. 2008-122
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER
OF A VEHICLE TO THE CITY OF MOUND
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth purchased an out -of -service ambulance from North
Memorial in 1999, for $1 for use by the Police Department's SWAT team; and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Crime and Fire Prevention Fund has donated a new vehicle for
the Police Department's SWAT team, which is anticipated to be put into service in April of 2008;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Mound has expressed an interest in the SWAT vehicle that will be
taken out of service for their use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the resolution authorizing the transfer of
the 1989 Police SWAT vehicle, being taken out of service, to the City of Mound for use by their
SWAT team.
