RESOLUTION NO. 2008-111
RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH
EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLAN
WHEREAS, it is important to provide a written guide to assist key City officials and
emergency organizations in carrying out their responsibilities for protection of life and property
under a wide range of emergency conditions; and
WHEREAS, such documentation is required by Federal, State, and County Emergency
Management Divisions of local municipalities; and
WHEREAS, the NSEMPG's Emergency Operations Plan has been fully updated to meet
these requirements; and
WHEREAS, the added benefit of a mutually accepted plan by several jurisdictions will
increase our efficiency and effectiveness in responding to natural disasters and emergencies within
our City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the City of Plymouth Emergency
Operations Plan.
Adopted by the City Council on April 8, 2008.
