HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2008-107CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2008-107 DESIGNATING POLLING LOCATION FOR CITY PRECINCT NO. 9 WHEREAS, Oakwood Elementary School has been used as a polling location for Precinct No. 9; and WHEREAS, issues regarding parking, congestion, and safety and security for students have been expressed to City staff, and WHEREAS, staff reviewed alternative polling locations for this precinct; and WHEREAS, St. Phillips Lutheran Church was evaluated as an alternative location for this precinct; and WHEREAS, St. Phillips Lutheran Church is currently the polling location for Precinct No. 13; and WHEREAS, upon review, St. Phillips Lutheran Church would be able to accommodate two precincts, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that St. Phillips Lutheran Church, 17205 County Road 6, has been designated as the Polling Location for Precinct No. 9 for the 2008 Elections and all fiiture elections. Adopted by the City Council on March 25, 2008. STATE OF MINNESOTA) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN) SS. The undersigned, being the duly qualified and appointed City Clerk of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, certifies that I compared the foregoing resolution adopted at a meeting of the Plymouth City Council on March 25, 2008 with the original thereof on file in my office, and the same is a correct transcription thereof.
