RESOLUTION NO. 2008-107
DESIGNATING POLLING LOCATION
FOR CITY PRECINCT NO. 9
WHEREAS, Oakwood Elementary School has been used as a polling location for Precinct No. 9;
and
WHEREAS, issues regarding parking, congestion, and safety and security for students have been
expressed to City staff, and
WHEREAS, staff reviewed alternative polling locations for this precinct; and
WHEREAS, St. Phillips Lutheran Church was evaluated as an alternative location for this
precinct; and
WHEREAS, St. Phillips Lutheran Church is currently the polling location for Precinct No. 13;
and
WHEREAS, upon review, St. Phillips Lutheran Church would be able to accommodate two
precincts,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that St. Phillips Lutheran Church, 17205 County Road 6, has
been designated as the Polling Location for Precinct No. 9 for the 2008 Elections and all fiiture
elections.
Adopted by the City Council on March 25, 2008.
