RESOLUTION NO. 2008-085
APPROVE THE PURCHASE OF
ONE NEW SELF PROPELLED PAVER
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the 2008 Central Equipment budget which includes the
purchase of one new self propelled paver; and
WHEREAS, specifications were prepared and advertisement for bids were published in the Plymouth
Sun Sailor; and
WHEREAS, on February 19, 2008 bids were received and opened; and
WHEREAS, Road Machinery & Supplies Company met all requirements and specifications, and
offered the following bid
Base Bid $118,860.00
Less trade value for Leeboy 5,300.00
Subtotal $1131,560.00
State Sales Tax 7,381.14
Total $120,941.40
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: To authorize the purchase of one new self propelled paver from Road
Machinery & Supplies Company for the total price of $120,941.40.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED: That the fiunding will be from 602-1760-8012.
Adopted by the City Council on March 11, 2008.
