RESOLUTION NO. 2008-081
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT
OF PUBLIC SAFETY, DIVISION OF HOMELAND
SECURITY AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has placed former Police Sergeant Robert Nesbitt in
the Minnesota Joint Analysis Center, where he has worked as a contract employee since
July 2005; and
WHEREAS, this grant is coming to a close; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has been notified that its grant application for a third
year has been approved to continue the association with MNJAC for the amount of
$100,750; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth will be compensated for all costs associated with this
grant,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to
accept the grant and enter into an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Public
Safety, Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management for the project
entitled Minnesota Joint Analysis Center for a period to expire on March 30, 2010.
Adopted by the City Council on March 11, 2008.
