RESOLUTION NO. 2008-033
AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF 2008 MEMBERSHIP DUES
FOR THE ELM CREEK, SHINGLE CREEK, AND BASSETT CREEK
WATERSHED MANAGEMENT COMMISSIONS
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is party to a joint powers agreement with the Elm Creek,
Shingle Creek, and Bassett Creek Watershed Management Commissions; and
WHEREAS, the Watershed commission membership dues were included in the 2008
Budget as approved by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, financing will come from the Water Resources Fund in the amount of
$9,490.57 for the Elm Creek Watershed Management Commission, $43,511.00 for the
Shingle Creek Watershed Management Commission, and $206,714.00 for the Bassett Creek
Watershed Management Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City Council authorize payment of
membership dues for the Elm Creek, Shingle Creek, and Bassett Creek Watershed
Management Commissions totaling $259,715.57.
