DATE: January 7, 2009 for Council Meeting of Special Meeting of January 13,

1. ACTION REQUESTED: Conduct the board and commission interviews and recommend
the appointments for the boards and commissions as indicated on the attached Resolution.
These appointments are on the January 13 Regular Council Meeting agenda for consideration
and adoption.
2. DISCUSSION: On January 2, staff provided to the Council spreadsheets containing the
interview schedule, vacancies that exist on the boards and commissions, current rosters,
attendance records and applications for individuals applying for boards and commissions.
As a note, staff has scheduled the annual Board and Commission Recognition Event on
Thursday, April 2, 6:00 p.m., at the Plymouth Creek' Center.

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, that the following
