HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 1986-24Ordinance 86-24 (Staff recollections): In 1986, Larry Rogers, Police Investigations, proposed language change to state law. State legislators contacted said there was not time this session and it would have to wait until the next year. The language was then taken to the City Council and adopted. News media did heavy coverage and the issue became a Legislative priority. The Legislature adopted the language in state law and the City ordinance language was no longer needed. Therefore the ordinance was not published or codified. It was superseded by state law. 6/7/95 ORDINANCE 86-24 RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF CONDUCT WHICH HARASSES, ABUSES, OR INTIMIDATES PERSONS WITHIN THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, AMENDING PLYMOUTH CITY CODE, CHAPTER XX, BY ADDING A NEW SUBSECTION AND REPEALING AN EXISTING SUBSECTION Ordinance not yet received from Play to be published.
