HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 1988-45CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDINANCE NO. 88-45 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PORTIONS OF THE ORDINANCE NUMBER 80-9, ADOPTED JUNE 16, 1980 AS AMENDED, AND KNOWN AS THE PLYMOUTH ZONING ORDINANCE, RELATIVE TO CALCULATION OF RESIDENTIAL MAXIMUM LOT COVERAGE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. SECTION 4, Subdivision B, "Lot Coverage" is hereby amended to read as follows: The area of a lot occupied by the principal building or buildings and, Section 2. SECTION 7, Subdivision D, Item 4, "Maximum Lot Coverage of All Structures" is hereby amended as follows: 4. Maximum Lot Coverage of All Structures ** Section 3. SECTION 10, Subdivision C, Item 7, is hereby amended in part as follows: [c (3)] d The lot coverage of all accessory buildings and structures shall be included in the maximum lot coverage of all structures as provided in SECTION 7, Subdivision D and in SECTION 8. Subdivision E: [d] e ACCESSORY BUILDINGS IN THE BUSINESS and INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS shall be attached to and be structurally a part of the principal building, and shall comply in all respects with the requirements of this Ordinance applicable to the main building. Detached accessory buildings for incidental uses such as guard houses, utility sheds, and the like, may be permitted as part of the approved Site Plan for the principal use. (1) Decks shall be designed to permit drainage through the decking; (2) Decks shall be uncovered except for normal roof overhang or open decking aboveā€¢ Section 4. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication. Adopted by the City Council this /'%' day of O aoht-r , 1988.
