HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 1988-42ORDINANCE NO. 88- 4.*4 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ORDER OF BUSINESS OF THE PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL, AND AMENDING SECTION 200.13 OF THE PLYMOUTH CITY CODE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDAINS: Section 1. The Plymouth City Code, Subsection 200.13, is amended to read: 200.13. Order of Business. At the hour appointed for the meeting, the members shall be called to order by the Presid- ing Officer. The Manager shall call the roll and note the absentees. Council business shall be conducted in the following order: (la) Appreval-a€-Minutes Silent Invocation. (2b) Bensent-Agenda Presentations. (3c) Publie-Hearings Consent Agenda. (4d) Pet##ens;-ReQeests-and-Eemmttnieatiens Minutes. (6e) Repents-e€-Geuneil-GefiHittees Public Hearings. (6f) Petitions, Requests and Communications. (W2) Elaims;-Appepiatiens-and-Eentraet-Payments Reports of Officers, Boards and Commissions. (8h) Adjournment. In order to accommodate persons in the Council Chambers waiting to be heard, the Presiding Officer may vary the above order; but public hearings shall be held at the time set in the notice of such hearings.
