HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 1989-03CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDINANCE NO. 89-o-8 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS AMENDING SUBSECTION 305.03, SUED. 2 AND SUBSECTION 305.05, SUBD. 2 OF THE PLYMOUTH CITY CODE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDAINS: Section 1. Plymouth City Code Subsection 305.03, Subd. 2 is amended to read: Subd. 2. Membership. The Planning Commission consists of seven members appointed in the manner set forth in this Subsection. The City is divided into four districts and one member of the Commission is appointed from each district described as follows: District No. 1 - The area bounded by the City's northerly City limits on the north; I-494 on the east; Highway 55 westerly to County Road 24 and County Road 24 westerly to the City's western City limits on the south; and the western City limits on the west. District No. 2 - I-494 on the east; Highway 55 westerly to County Road 24 and County Road 24 westerly to the City's western City limits on the north; and the City's western City limits on the west; and the City's southern city limits on the south. District No. 3 - I-494 on the west; County Road 9 on the north; the City's eastern City limits on the east; and the City's southern City limits on the south. District No. 4 - I-494 on the west; County Road 9 on the south; the City's eastern City limits on the east; and the City's northern City limits on the north. Three members of the Planning Commission are appointed from the City at large. Members of the Commission are appointed by the Council for a term of t4p,&& two years, expiring on January 31 of each year. (Amended, Ord. N. 88-01, Sec. 1) Section 2. Subsection 305.05, Subd. 2 is amended to read: Subd. 2. Membership. The Park and Recreation Advisory Commission consists of seven members appointed in the manner set forth in this subsection.
