AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO PUBLIC WELFARE
AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 89-40 PERTAINING
TO FRANCHISE AGREEMENT WITH WRIGHT-HENNEPIN
COOPERATIVE ELECTRIC ASSOCIATION
The City Council of the City of Plymouth ordains:
Section 1. The Franchise Agreement between the City of
Plymouth and Wright -Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association,
paragraph 2.3 is amended to read:
Service Rates and Area. The servlee to be
provided and the rates to be charged by eemgany €or
eleetrle serviee in elty enrrently are sab3eet to the
3ar4sdletion of the Minnesota Pub -lie Htllitles
Eommisslon. The Company will provide adequate,
efficient, and reasonable electric service at rates
which fairly reflect the cost of providing such
service. If the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission
takes jurisdiction over service provided and rates
charged by the Company, such service and rates will be
governed by the Commission. The area within the City
in which the Company may provide electric service
currently is subject to the provisions of Minnesota
Statutes, Section 216B.40.
Sec. 2. This ordinance is effective on the date of its
publication in accordance with Subsection 110.11.
