ORDINANCE NO. 91-/L:
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO PUBLIC SAFETY
AMENDING SECTION 905 OF THE PLYMOUTH CITY CODE
PERTAINING TO FIRE PREVENTION
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDAINS:
Section 1. The Plymouth City Code, Subsection 905.02, Subdivision 1 is
amended to read:
Subdivision 1. Minnesota Uniform Fire Code. The Minnesota Uniform
Fire Code (1981988 Edition of the Uniform Fire Code), one copy of which
is on file in the office of the city clerk, is hereby adopted as the fire
code for the City, for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing
conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, except
such portions as are modified or amended by Subdivisions 5 and 6 of this
section. Every provision contained in the Uniform Fire Code, except as
modified or amended by this Section, is hereby adopted and made a part of
this Section as if fully set forth herein.
Sec. 2. The Plymouth City Code, Subsection 905.02 is amended by adding
a new subdivision to read:
Subd. 6. Amendment to the Uniform Fire Code. In addition to the

Sec. 3. This ordinance is effective on the date of its publication in
accordance with Subsection 110.11.
