HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 1992-30ORDINANCE NO. 92-30 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO LICENSING OPERATIONS WHICH ARE DELINQUENT IN TAXES AND CHARGES, AMENDING SECTION 1206.43 OF THE PLYMOUTH CITY CODE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDAINS: Sec. 1. The Plymouth City Code, Subsection 1206.43 is amended to read: 1206.43. Delinquent Taxes and Charges. No license shall be granted for operation on any premises on which state, city or county taxes, assessments, or other financial claims of the state, city or county are delinquent and unpaid. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if the delinquent taxes, assessments or financial claims are against a landowner, and the licensee is a tenant of landowner, and has no financial interest in landowner, then the City Council may in its unilateral discretion but shall not be required to, grant a license to licensee so long as licensee is not delinquent on any taxes, assessments or financial claims as set forth herein Sec. 2 This ordinance is effective upon its passage and publication in accordance with Section 110.11.
