AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF PIKE LAKE AND
AMENDING SECTION 1335 OF THE PLYMOUTH CITY CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDAINS:
Sec. 1. The Plymouth City Code, Section 1335, is amended to
include a new Subsection 1335.07 to read:
Subd. 1. Pike Lake; Special Provisions. Maple
Grove City Code Section 760, entitled "Lake Use
Regulations," as amended, is adopted by reference
and is made a part of this Code as if fully set
forth herein and shall be used for the regulation
of that part of Pike Lake lying within the
boundaries of the City, except as set forth
herein.
Subd. 2. Definitions. For the purpose of this
Subsection, the following terms shall have the
meanings set forth unless the context clearly
indicates otherwise:
a. "City" means the City of Plymouth, Minnesota.
b. "Council" means the City Council for the
City of Plymouth.
C. "Lake" means that part of Pike Lake lying
within the boundaries of the City.
Subd. 3 Watercraft Speed. For the purpose of
this Subsection, no person shall operate a
watercraft at a speed which exceeds 15 miles per
hour. The interconnecting channel between Eagle
Lake and Pike Lake shall be traveled at a slow,
no -wake speed.
Sec. 2. This ordinance is effective upon its passage and
publication in accordance with Section 110.11.
