HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 1994-03CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDINANCE NO. 94- 3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE RELATIVE TO FREE-STANDING BUSINESS SIGNS IN THE B-1, B-2, B-3 AND I-1 ZONING DISTRICTS (94001) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 10, Subdivision A 3. b. is hereby amended by adding the following: (4) Business signs shall direct attention to the business profession commodity or service which is found on the premises where the sign is located except that such signs may be placed on adjacent premises if all of the following conditions are met: (a) there is common ownership of the two premises: (b) the signs are in compliance with all other ordinance requirements: and (c) that the sign(s) shall be removed from the adjacent premises within six months in the event that the two premises are no longer in common ownership. Section 2. Section 5. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication. Adopted by the City Council this 24th day of January, 1994.
