HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 1995-40CITY OF PLYMOUTH HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA ORDINANCE NO. 95- 40 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10, SUBDIVISION B OF THE PLYMOUTH ZONING ORDINANCE CONCERNING PARKING REGULATIONS FOR MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLINGS THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Section 10, Subd. B, 5, a. (2) of the Plymouth Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended by deleting and adding text to read as follows: (2) F&r-ageDrivewav aprons and driveways providing access to garages shall not qualify as offstreet parking spaces-., unless all the following conditions are met: (a) The driveway apron shall serve a multiple family dwelling unit which has use of a two stall garage: (b) The driveway apron shall be under the direct control of the dwelling unit served by the Raragez (c) The driveway apron shall measure at least 22 feet in length between the front of the garage and the street or roadway: and (d) Parking on the driveway apron shall not impede traffic circulation or access to any other dwelling unit, nor shall it adversely effect the ability to provide public utilities or public safety.
