AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1015, PERMIT PROCEDURES AND
FEES, OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH CITY CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH DOES HEREBY ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Plymouth City Code, Subsection 1015, Subd. 2. (b) is amended to read as
follows:
(b) Building Permit Fees. The following schedule of building permit fees shall
remain effective until revoked by action of the City Council.
Total Valuation Fee
$1.00 to $500.00 $15.00 18.50
$501.00 to $2,000.00 $14 00 18.50 for the first $500.00 plus
$2---00 $2.40 for each additional
$100.00 or fraction thereof, to and
including $2,000.00.
$2,001.00 to $25,000.00 $43:90 $54.00 for the first $2,000.00 plus $9:00
10.75 each additional $1,000.00 or fraction
thereof, to and including $25,000.00.

Other Inspections and Fees:
1. Inspections outside of normal business hours
(minimum charge - two hours)
2. Reinspection fees assessed under provisions of
Section 108.8 of the Uniform Building Code
3. Inspections for which no fee is apt,scally indicated
(minimum charge - one-half hour)
4. Additional plan review rewired by changes additions
or revisions to plans
(minimum charge - one-half hour)
5. For use of outside consultants for plan checking and
inspections, or both
$42.00 per hour*

Actual costs**
*Or the total hourly cost to the jurisdiction, whichever is the greatest. This cost shall
include supervision, overhead, equipment, hourly wages and fringe benefits of the
employees involved.
**Actual costs include administrative and overhead costs.
Section 2. This ordinance is effective beginning on January 1, 1996.
