AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO CLASSIFY
CERTAIN LANDS LOCATED WEST OF VICKSBURG LANE AT SCHMIDT
LAKE ROAD (94093)
Section 1. Amendment of Ordinance. Ordinance No. 80-9 of the City of
Plymouth, Minnesota, adopted June 15, 1980 as amended, is hereby amended by
changing the classification on the City of Plymouth Zoning Map from FRD (Future
Restricted Development District) to R-lA (Low Density Residence District) with
respect to the hereinafter described property:
That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter and the Southwest
Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 8, Township. 118, North, Range 22
West of the 5th Principal Meridian, lying Southerly of the railroad right-of-way,
according to the United State Government Survey thereof, Hennepin County,
Minnesota,
ALSO
The Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 8, Township 118
North, Range 22 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, except the South 171.2
feet as measured along the East and West lines thereof, also except the North
654.42 feet as measured along the East and West lines thereof, according to the
Government Survey thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota, EXCEPT the East
33 feet thereof,
ALSO
The North 220.00 feet of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, as
measured along the East and West lines thereof, and the South 171.2 feet of the
Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter, as measured along the East and
West lines thereof, Section 8, Township 118 North, Range 22 West of the 5th
Principal Meridian, EXCEPT the East 33 feet thereof,
ALSO
The South 443.22 feet of the North 663.22 feet; as measured along the East and
West Lines of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 8,
Township 118 North, Range 22 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, EXCEPT
the East 33 feet thereof,
Which lies southerly of the following described line and its extensions:
Commencing at the southeast comer of said Southeast Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter; thence on an assumed bearing of North 0 degrees 39 minutes 34
seconds West along the East line of said Southeast Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter a distance of 75.00 feet to the point of beginning of the line being
described; thence South 89 degrees 14 minutes 32 seconds West a distance of
289.25 feet; thence westerly along a tangential curve concave to the northeast,

having a central angle of 32 degrees 15 minutes 28 seconds, and a radius of
1290.00 feet a distance of 726.28 feet; thence North 58 degrees 30 minutes
West, tangent to last said curve, a distance of 212.67; thence westerly along a
tangential curve concave to the south, said curve having a central angle of 37
degrees 30 minutes, and a radius of 850.00 feet, a distance of 556.32 feet;
thence South 84 degrees West, tangent to last said curve, a distance of 275.00
feet; thence westerly along a tangential curve concave to the north, said curve
having a central angle of 14 degrees and a radius of 1450.00 feet, a distance of
354.30 feet; thence North 82 degrees West tangent to last said curve to its
intersection with the southeasterly right of way line of the Soo Line Railroad,
and said line there ending.
Section 2. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage
and publication.
Adopted by the City Council this 16th day of May 1995.
