AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER V AND CHAPTER VIII OF
THE PLYMOUTH CITY CODE CONCERNING SIDEWALKS
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Subsection 500.27, Subd. 1 of the Plymouth City Code is amended
to read:
Subdivision 1. Policy. As soon as practicable after approval of the proposed
plat, the developer shall arrange for the installation of telephone, electrical, and natural
gas service and for the installation of all of the following improvements within the
subdivision:
(a) sanitary sewage disposal;
(b) street grading and paving;
(c) concrete curb and gutter;
(d) boulevard sodding;
(e) drainage;
(f) water;
SECTION 2. Subsection 500.29 of the Plymouth City Code is amended by adding
a new subdivision 9 as follows and renumbering the existing subdivision 9:
Snbd -9 _t}T q Escrow of Required Deposits. All sums deposited with the
City in accordance with this Subsection shall be kept in separate funds which funds shall
be encumbered and earmarked for the later construction of the particular improvements

within the particular subdivision, provided, however, that the deposits for concrete curb
and gutter and boulevard sodding may be merged into a single fund. Interest earned on
the investment of those funds shall accrue and be added to the appropriate fund.
SECTION 3. Chapter VIII of the Plymouth City Code is amended by adding
Section 820 to provide:

SECTION 4. Sections 1 and 2 of this ordinance are effective immediately
following passage. Section 3 of this ordinance is effective June 1, 1995.
