HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 1995-01CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDINANCE NO. 95-1 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO CLASSIFY CERTAIN LANDS LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF COUNTY ROAD 6, EAST OF FERNDALE LANE (94145) Section 1. Amendment of Ordinance. Ordinance No. 80-9 of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, adopted June 15, 1980 as amended, is hereby amended by changing the classification on the City of Plymouth Zoning Map from FRD (Future Restricted Development) to R -IA (Low Density Single Family Residential District) with respect to the hereinafter described property: That part of Government Lots 5 and 6, Section 30, Township 118 North, Range 22, west of the Fifth Principal Meridian described as follows: Commencing at a point on the south line of said Government Lot 5 distant 802.56 feet west of the southeast corner of said Government Lot 5; thence north a distance of 660.00 feet; thence south 66 degrees 29 minutes west a distance of 46.20 feet; thence south 70 degrees 54 minutes west a distance of 272.48 feet to the point of beginning of the land to be described; thence continuing south 70 degrees 54 minutes west a distance of 388.84 feet; thence south 75 degrees 29 minutes west a distance of 504.90 feet; thence south 8 degrees 42 minutes east to the south line of said Section 30; thence easterly, along said south line to the intersection with a line bearing south 22 degrees 10 minutes west from the point of beginning; thence north 22 degrees 10 minutes east to the point of beginning; except that part of the above describe property lying northerly and easterly of the following described line. Beginning at the southeast corner of the above described property; thence north 66 degrees 20 minutes west a distance of 373.91 feet; thence north 29 degrees 10 minutes 10 seconds east a distance of 44.24 feet; thence northerly a distance of 134.27 feet along a tangential curve concave to the west having a radius of 226.05 feet and a central angle of 34 degrees 02 minutes; thence north 4 degrees 51 minutes 50 seconds west, tangent to said curve, a distance of 76.34 feet to the northerly line of the above described property and said line there terminating. Also, that part of the north half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 31, Township 118, Range 22, west of the Fifth Principal Meridian described as follow: Commencing at a point on the north line of said north half distant 802.56 feet west of the northeast corner thereof; thence north 660 feet; thence south 66 degrees 29 minutes west a distance of 46.2 feet; thence south 70 degrees 54 minutes west a distance of 661.32 feet; thence south 75 degrees 29 minutes west a distance of 504.9 feet to a point hereinafter referred to as 'Point A"; thence south 8 degrees 42 minutes east to a point on the north line of said Section 31, said point being the point of beginning of the property being described; thence south 8 degrees 42 minutes east to a point which is 500.28 feet from said 'Point A"; thence south 32 degrees 7 minutes east, 351.12 feet; thence south 17 degrees 7 minutes east, 160 feet to a point hereinafter referred to as 'Point B"; thence northeasterly to a point on the north line of said Section 31, distant 578 feet east of the point of beginning; thence west to the point of beginning, all in Hennepin County, Minnesota. Section 2. General Development Plan. This Ordinance authorizes the development of said tracts only in accordance with the Plan approved for the File No. 94145. Section 3. Effective Date, This Ordinance shall take effect upon filing the Final Plat with Hennepin County and upon its passage and publication.
