R ESOLUTION N O. 2024-133
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING A J OINT P OWERS A GREEMENT WITH THE S TATE OF M INNESOTA R EGARDING
THE M INNESOTA I NTERNET C RIMES A GAINST C HILDREN T ASK F ORCE (ICAC)
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Police Department has been a member of the Minnesota Internet Crimes
Against Children Task Force (ICAC) since 2014; and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Police Department desires to continue combatting the exploitation of
children from online sexual predators as a member of the ICAC Taskforce; and
WHEREAS, the current joint powers agreement is due for renewal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the joint powers agreement between the City of Plymouth and the State of Minnesota
Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is hereby approved.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 9th day of April, 2024.
