R ESOLUTION 2024-109
A PPROVING F INDINGS OF F ACT FOR A Z ONING O RDINANCE T EXT A MENDMENT TO
21170 OF THE Z ONING O RDINANCE TO A MEND K EEPING OF B EES (2024008)
WHEREAS, Hops Craft Brewing, LLC dba Luce Line Brewery initiated amendments to the keeping
of animals sections of the zoning ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposed text amendments at a duly
called public hearing and recommends approval of the text amendments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby approves the zoning ordinance text amendments to adopt
regulations allowing for industrial beekeeping on rooftops, and modify the City Code, based upon the
finding that the proposed amendments would be consistent with the city’s Comprehensive Plan and
with the purpose and intent of the city’s ordinances and policies.
