R ESOLUTION A WARDING THE C ONTRACT FOR THE
2024 O LD R OCKFORD R OAD T RUNK W ATERMAIN L INING P ROJECT (WA249005)
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2024 Old Rockford Road Trunk
Watermain Lining Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to State law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Geislinger & Sons, Inc. $1,831,222.00
Northdale Construction Company, Inc. $1,892,171.42
Fer-Pal Construction USA LLC $1,898,877.00
Meyer Contracting Inc. $2,064,055.98
Minger Construction Co. Inc. $2,147,418.84
New Look Contracting, Inc. $2,232,250.00
Engineers Estimate $2,143,793.00
WHEREAS, Geislinger & Sons, Inc., from Watkins, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder
and complies with the minimum qualifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends awarding the project to Geislinger & Sons, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA
1. The appropriate City Officials are authorized and directed to enter into the contract with
Geislinger & Sons, Inc., from Watkins, Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth for the
2024 Old Rockford Road Trunk Watermain Lining Project according to the plans and
specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City
Engineer in the amount of $1,831,222.
2. The project shall include construction in the amount of $1,831,222 and design,
administration, and contingency in the amount of $368,778 for a total project cost of
$2,200,000.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that funding for this project shall be from the water fund in the
amount of $2,200,000.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 12th day of March, 2024.
