R ESOLUTION A PPROVING F INDINGS OF F ACT FOR A MENDING THE
Z ONING O RDINANCE T EXT RELATED TO T HE V ILLAGE AT B ASSETT C REEK PUD FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED AT NORTH OF H IGHWAY 55, SOUTH OF 10 TH A VENUE, EAST OF
S OUTH S HORE D RIVE AND WEST OF R EVERE L ANE (2023060)
WHEREAS, Dietrich Development, LLC and JNA 55 has requested approval of a PUD (Planned
Unit Development) amendment for the construction of a mixed-use development with 330-unit
apartment with parking spaces, 5,600 square foot retail building with an additional 5,000 square feet of
retail available within the apartment building, and 12 townhomes; and
WHEREAS, the subject property is legally described as Lot 1, Block 1, Bassett Creek Office
Centre, Hennepin County, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Zoning Ordinance requires a text amendment for a PUD amendment;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing
and recommended approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance text.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does support and approve the request by Dietrich Development,
LLC and JNA 55 for a PUD amendment and related Zoning Ordinance text amendment, based on the
following findings:
1. The amendment is consistent with the objectives of the city’s comprehensive plan.
2. The amendment would not affect the purposes or intent of the PUD.
