R ESOLUTION A PPROVING A C OMPREHENSIVE P LAN A MENDMENT TO REGUIDE
ROUGHLY 16-ACRES FROM C-O AND P-I TO MXD AND T RANSPORTATION P LAN
A MENDMENT FOR “H IGHWAY 55 A PARTMENTS” (2023060)
WHEREAS, Dietrich Development, LLC and JNA 55 has requested a comprehensive plan
amendment to reguide roughly 16-acres of land and a transportation plan amendment located north of
Highway 55, south of 10th Avenue, east of South Shore Drive and west of Revere Lane from C-O
(business commercial) and P-I (public/semi-public/institutional) to MXD (mixed use); and
WHEREAS, the land affected by the reguiding is presently legally described as follows:
Lot 1, Block 1, Bassett Creek Office Centre, Hennepin County, MN
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing
and recommends approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve amendments to the comprehensive plan to
reguide roughly 16-acres of land and amend the transportation plan located at north of Highway 55,
south of 10th Avenue, east of South Shore Drive and west of Revere Lane from C-O (business
commercial) and P-I (public/semi-public/institutional) to MXD (mixed use).
FURTHER, to incorporate the changes, the city will modify Figure 3-2, 2040 Land Use Plan in
Chapter 3 of the Plymouth Comprehensive Plan; and
FURTHER, to incorporate the changes, the city will modify Figure 6-1, 2040 Land Use Plan in
Chapter 6 of the Plymouth Comprehensive Plan; and
FURTHER, approval of the comprehensive plan amendment is contingent upon, and subject to,
the required review and response by the Metropolitan Council.
