R ESOLUTION N O. 2024-025
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING THE P ROPERTY A GENT A GREEMENT WITH THE T HREE R IVERS P ARK D ISTRICT
FOR THE S TATION 73 (TRIP) T RANSIT AND R EGIONAL I MPROVEMENT P ROJECT (ST230003)
WHEREAS, the Station 73 Transit and Regional Trail Improvement Program (TRIP) is listed in the
2023-2032 Capital Improvement Plan; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the Eagle Lake Regional Trail is proposed to be constructed as part of the
above referenced project; and
WHEREAS, the Eagle Lake Regional Trail master plan was completed by the Three Rivers Park
District and accepted by the City of Plymouth and Metropolitan Council on this alignment; and
WHEREAS, the city will act as the land acquisition agent for the project, including the easements
necessary for the regional trail; and
WHEREAS, the agreement established the rights and responsibilities of each party associated with
the acquisition of property rights for the trail.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that:
1. The grant agreement from the Three Rivers Park District is accepted.
2. The City Council authorizes the Mayor and City Manager or City Clerk to execute said grant
agreement.
