R ESOLUTION N O. 2024-011
R ESOLUTION A WARDING C ONTRACT FOR 3525 K ILMER AND 11018 O LD CR 15 B UILDING
D EMOLITION P ROJECT (ST230003DEM/ST250002DEM)
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 3525 Kilmer and 11018 Old CR 15
Building Demolition Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to State law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Minnesota Dirt Works, Inc. $166,353.00
Kevitt Excavating $167,000.00
Frattalone Companies $190,543.21
Veit & Company, Inc. $194,439.00
Lloyds Construction Services $195,670.00
Fehn Companies, Inc. $204,330.00
Urban Companies $235,000.00
Construction Results Corporation $270,080.00
Kurilla Contracting $440,000.00
WHEREAS, New Look Contracting, Inc. of Rogers, MN, is the lowest responsible bidder,
complying with the minimum qualifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends awarding the project to New Look Contracting, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Manager are authorized and directed to enter into a contract with New
Look Contracting, Inc. of Rogers, MN, in the name of the City of Plymouth for the 3525
Kilmer and 11018 Old CR 15 Building Demolition Project according to the plans and
specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City
Engineer in the amount of $130,000.
2. The total cost of the project is estimated to be $200,000 and includes the improvements in
the amount of $130,000 and engineering, administration, and contingency in the amount of
$70,000.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the project be funded from the Street Reconstruction Fund.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 9th day of January, 2024.
