R ESOLUTION N O. 2023-320
R ESOLUTION A DOPTING THE 2024 B UDGETS
WHEREAS, the 2024 budget reflects the first year of the 2024/2025 biennial budget;
and
WHEREAS, the 2024 budget resolution and the accompanying proposed 2024 tax
levies contained in Resolution No. 2023-323 are submitted by the city in accordance with
Minnesota Statutes and other applicable laws in effect on this date; and
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs on the 2024 Plymouth Housing and
Redevelopment Authority budgets in the amount of $6,475,632 (HRA General, Housing
Choice, Vicksburg Crossing and Plymouth Towne Square).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the proposed 2024 operating budgets for the following funds
are hereby given approval.

NOW, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council approves the following uses of

NOW, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council approves the transfer of the
12/31/23 year-end fund balance from the Water and Sewer Replacement fund to the Water
fund per the utility rate study;
NOW, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council declares its intent to take all
necessary actions legally permissible to the submission and approval of the city’s budget and
property tax levies.
