R ESOLUTION N O. 2023-309
R ESOLUTION A MENDING F INAL C LOSEOUT FOR THE
L ANCASTER L IFT S TATION P UMP R EPLACEMENT P ROJECT (SS210001)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as the owner, and Electric Pump, Inc. as the contractor, have
entered into an agreement for the Lancaster Lift Station Pump Replacement Project. Said agreement
was approved by the City Council on June 28, 2022; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 2022-175 was approved on June 28, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and approval of the
request for final payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount between the owner and the contractor was $194,832.64
and the final contract amount is $194,832.63.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for the Lancaster Lift Station Pump Replacement
Project and certified to the council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is
released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, all legal
rights of the owner, required guarantees, and correction of faulty work after final payment.
3. The total project cost is $204,574.26 which included the improvements in the amount of
$194,832.63 and 5% for engineering and administration in the amount of $9,741.63.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
1. The original funding for this project was from the Sewer Fund ($1,000,000).
2. That funding for this project will be from the Sewer Fund ($204,574.26).
APPROVED by the City Council on this 12th day of December, 2023.
