R ESOLUTION N O. 2023-294
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING J OINT P OWERS A GREEMENT FOR A CCOUNTING S ERVICES
B ETWEEN THE C ITY OF P LYMOUTH AND THE B ASSETT C REEK W ATERSHED
M ANAGEMENT C OMMISSION
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth represents approximately 52% of the Bassett Creek
Watershed District; and
WHEREAS, historically accounting services for the Bassett Creek Watershed District were
performed by the City of Golden Valley and then transferred to an accounting firm; and
WHEREAS, to control the cost and provide expertise in governmental accounting, the City of
Plymouth Finance Department will take on the accounting services for the Bassett Creek Watershed
Management Commission through a Joint Powers Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the Joint Powers Agreement for accounting services between the City
of Plymouth and the Bassett Creek Watershed Management Commission is approved.
