R ESOLUTION N O. 2023-273
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING C HANGE O RDER N O. 1 FOR THE
G LEASON L AKE D RIVE I MPROVEMENTS P ROJECT (ST239001)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as the owner, and Kuechle Underground, Inc. as the contractor,
have entered into an agreement for the Gleason Lake Drive Improvements Project. Said agreement was
approved by the City Council on April 11, 2023; and
WHEREAS, changes were made during construction that are not covered under the City’s
contract with Kuechle Underground, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 was incorporated into the project scope and included the
removal and disposal of excess excavated material which is classified as regulated soils, is within defined
limits of planned Common Excavation and Subgrade Excavation, and is within "Phase 3" of the limits of
construction; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 includes additional work to accommodate and address changes
in site conditions related to the regulated soils needs beneath "Phase 3" of the limits of construction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that Change Order No. 1 in the total amount of $119,734.97 is approved.
