R ESOLUTION TO E NTER INTO A C OOPERATIVE A GREEMENT WITH THE
B ASSETT C REEK W ATERSHED M ANAGEMENT C OMMISSION FOR THE
P ONDEROSA W OODS S TREAM R ESTORATION P ROJECT (WR210003)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth and Bassett Creek Watershed Management Commission
(BCWMC) are working to improve the water quality in Medicine Lake to help the lake meet water quality
standards; and
WHEREAS, the Ponderosa Woods Stream Restoration Project (WR210003) is included in the
2023-2032 Capital Improvement Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth and BCWMC wish to jointly proceed with the project; and
WHEREAS, the Cooperative Agreement outlines that the City of Plymouth will bid and
administer construction services for the project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth will be reimbursed for costs associated with the Ponderosa
Woods Stream Restoration Project by the BCWMC in accordance with the Cooperative Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized and directed to approve and sign the
Cooperative Agreement between the City of Plymouth and the Bassett Creek Watershed Management
Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funding for this project shall be from the Water Resources Fund and
reimbursed by the BCWMC per the cooperative agreement.
