R ESOLUTION N O. 2023-244
R ESOLUTION R EMOVING “N O P ARKING” R ESTRICTIONS FOR
B OTH S IDES OF L ARCH L ANE F ROM 42 ND A VENUE TO O LD R OCKFORD R OAD
WHEREAS, the reconstruction of Fire Station II is nearing completion and involves new access
locations to adjacent streets; and
WHEREAS, additional on-street parking would allow additional parking capacity during parking
lot maintenance, large training events, or activation of the emergency operations center located at the
station; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department has reviewed and confirmed that allowing on street parking will
not impact their fire operations; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is the only property owner with access to this block of Larch
Lane.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the restriction of “No Parking” is hereby removed and staff is authorized to remove
signage on both sides of Larch Lane between 42nd Avenue and Old Rockford Road, excluding those
areas which serve as turn lanes.
