RESOLUTION NO. 2023-225
RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF FOUR LIGHT DUTY PICK-UP TRUCKS
WHEREAS, the 2023-2032 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) and 2023 budget include the purchase
of four light duty pick-up trucks; and
WHEREAS, the city has the option to purchase off the state contract; and
WHEREAS, Midway Ford Commercial has a state contract for the purchase of pick-up trucks
(State Contract No. 169665); and
WHEREAS, the disposal of the existing pick-up trucks shall be through auction in 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the purchase of four pick-up trucks from Midway Ford is approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the total purchase price is $198,041.56, and that funding will be
through the Central Equipment Fund 600-70-760-76001-8100.500.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 12th day of September, 2023.
