CALL TO ORDER - 7:00 P.M. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 3. PUBLIC FORUM 4. APPROVAL OF AGENDA MOTION by Commissioner Weir, seconded by Commissioner Holmes, recommending approval of the September 1, 2004 Planning Commission Agenda. Vote. 6 Ayes. MOTION approved. 5. CONSENT AGENDA Chair Larson stated a typographical correction was made to page 2 of the August 18, 2004 minutes. A. APPROVAL OF AUGUST 18, 2004 PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES MOTION by Commissioner Weir, seconded by Commissioner Anderson, recommending approval of the August 4, 2004 Planning Commission Minutes. Vote. 6 Ayes. MOTION approved. B. JEFF AND TERRI NAUGHTIN (2004071) MOTION by Commissioner Weir, seconded by Commissioner Anderson, recommending approval of the request by Jeff and Terri Naughtin for a variance to allow a 10 -foot side yard setback for construction of a garage addition for property located at 1315 Shadyview Lane North. Vote. 6 Ayes. MOTION approved. Approved Planning Commission Minutes September 1, 2004 Page 2 C. JACK AND CAROL AMIS (2004096) MOTION by Commissioner Weir, seconded by Commissioner Anderson, recommending approval of the request by Jack and Carol Amis for a variance to encroach 5 feet into the rear yard setback for an existing 9 -foot by 10 -foot shed for property located at 2920 Pilgrim Lane North. Vote. 6 Ayes. MOTION approved. 6. PUBLIC HEARINGS A. UNTIEDT'S GARDEN MARKET (2004100) Chair Larson introduced the request by Untiedt's Garden Market for an interim use permit to allow a seasonal farmer's market in the C-2 (Neighborhood Commercial) Zoning District for property located at 1605 County Road 101. Senior Planner Darling gave an overview of the August 24, 2004 staff report. Chair Larson introduced the applicant Craig Gilb, 14504 -12th Avenue North. Mr. Gilb said he agrees with the staff report and conditions. Chair Larson opened and closed the public hearing as no one was present to speak on the item. MOTION by Commissioner Weir, seconded by Commissioner Wilson, to recommend approval of the request by Untiedt's Garden Market for an interim use permit to allow a seasonal farmer's market in the C-2 (Neighborhood Commercial) Zoning District for property located at 1605 County Road 101. Roll Call Vote. 6 Ayes. MOTION approved. 7. ADJOURNMENT MOTION by Chair Larson with no objection to adjourn the meeting. The meeting adjourned at 7:09 p.m.
