R ESOLUTION N O. 2023-193
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING THE P ARTIAL V ACATION OF D RAINAGE AND U TILITY E ASEMENT OF
L OT 1, B LOCK 1, T RILLIUM W OODS
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for July 25, 2023, in
accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to
the meeting of July 25, 2023; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail;
and
WHEREAS, the Council held a public hearing on July 25, 2023 to inform any and all interested
parties relevant to the vacation of a portion of the drainage and utility easement of Lot 1, Block 1,
Trillium Woods, and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said drainage and utility easement is not
needed for public purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the following part of the drainage and utility easement be vacated:
To vacate that part of Lot 1, Block 1, TRILLIUM WOODS according to the plat on file and of record in the
office of the county recorder, Hennepin County, Minnesota described as follows:
Commencing at the southwest corner of said Lot 1; thence North 02 degrees 12 minutes 35
seconds West, assumed bearing along the west line of said Lot 1, a distance of 15.32 feet;
thence North 31 degrees 33 minutes 27 seconds East, leaving said west line, a distance of
654.39 feet to to a easterly line of a Drainage and Utility Easement as dedicated on said
TRILLIUM WOODS and the point of beginning of the easement to be vacated; thence North 01
degree 35 minutes 46 seconds East, along said easterly line, a distance of 58.49 feet; thence
North 23 degrees 24 minutes 50 seconds West, continuing along said easterly line, a distance of
24.19 feet; thence South 05 degrees 39 minutes 09 seconds East, leaving said easterly line, a
distance of 81.06 feet to the point of beginning.
Easement Vacation Area = 299 sq. ft.
