One of Plymouth’s most iconic annual events, Music in Plymouth, just entered into its second
half of a century history, with the 51st celebration taking place July 6 at the Hilde Performance
Center. The entertainment not only included the annual performance by the Minnesota
Orchestra, but also music from the Heart & Soul Drum Academy, French Cabaret Trio (Mark
Stillman, Francine Roche, Jim Price) and Genesis Jazz Orchestra. The event included family
activities like glitter tattoos and face painting, food trucks and stands from local businesses and
booths from various local organizations. The night concluded with a fireworks show.
