1. CALL TO ORDER AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
2. PUBLIC FORUM—Individuals may address the Commission about any item not contained on the
regular agenda. A maximum of 15 minutes is allotted for the Forum. If the full 15 minutes are not needed
for the Forum, the Commission will continue with the agenda. The Commission will take no official
action on items discussed at the Forum, with the exception of referral to staff for future reports.
3. APPROVE AGENDA —Planning Commission members may add items to the agenda for discussion
purposes or staff direction only. The Commission will not normally take official action on items added to
the agenda.
4. CONSENT AGENDA —These items are considered to be routine and enacted by one motion. There
will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Commission member or citizen so requests, in which
event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and placed elsewhere on the agenda.

Happy Birthday America Parade set for June 29
Plymouth, Minn. – City of Plymouth’s annual Happy Birthday America Parade is set for Thursday, June
29 at the Hilde Performance Center, 3500 Plymouth Blvd.
Geared toward preschool and elementary-age children, the free event provides an opportunity for
families to participate in a festive Independence Day-themed parade.
Parade Festivities
Festivities begin at 10 a.m. with decorations for the parade. Children should bring and decorate their
bicycles, tricycles and strollers. Children will receive patriotic-themed bags filled with streamers, beads
and the like to decorate, but participants may also bring their own decorative materials. Patriotic attire
is also encouraged.
The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. with the Star Spangled Banner and other patriotic music, led by the
Hamel Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5903.
Live Music by the Tricia and the Toonies
Following the parade, the event features an 11 a.m. live music show by Tricia and the Toonies at the
Hilde main stage.
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees should bring money for food truck purchases. No
registration is required.
Event sponsors include Kyle Vitense State Farm, Plymouth Lions Club, Plymouth Smiles Dentistry, Code
Ninjas Plymouth, New Horizon Academy and First Student Wayzata.
In the event of inclement weather, the event may be canceled. Call the weather hotline to check for
cancellations at 763-509-5205.
Cutline: The free annual Happy Birthday America Parade for children is set for Thursday, June 29 at the
Hilde Performance Center.

Plymouth Police hold Coffee with Cops event July 13
Plymouth, Minn. – Residents are invited to meet members of the Plymouth Police Department during a
Coffee with Cops event 3-4:30 p.m. Thursday, July 13 at the Fox and Pantry, 15725 37th Ave. N.
Attendees can ask questions, see the inside of a police squad vehicle and enjoy a cup of coffee with
officers. The event is part of the Plymouth Police Department's ongoing community engagement and
outreach initiative.

Plymouth to host free outdoor concert
June 16
June 13, 2023
The city of Plymouth is set to host an evening of free outdoor music featuring Church of Cash
and The Belfast Cowboys 6-9 p.m. Friday, June 16, at the Hilde Performance Center, 3500
Plymouth Boulevard.
Concertgoers may enjoy recreations of hit songs by Johnny Cash, Van Morrison and other rock
and soul covers, as well as some original pieces. The concert begins with The Belfast Cowboys,
followed by the Church of Cash.
Food trucks will be available, and beer and wine will be sold by the Plymouth Civic League in
support of Music in Plymouth. Nonalcoholic drinks will be available from Sobar.
The event is free and open to the public – no tickets or registration are required. Attendees are
invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
