R ESOLUTION N O. 2023-138
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING 2023 C OMPENSATION FOR THE C ITY M ANAGER
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth and the City Manager have entered into an
employment agreement that states that salary adjustments shall by authorized by the
city in the form of a resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council and City Manager participated in a performance
evaluation discussion on May 9, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that the City Manager’s performance
exceeds expectations, the Consumer Price Index increase of 7.7% and other
internal/external equity factors impact the compensation for the City Manager; and
WHEREAS, the salary limit for 2023 for the Plymouth City Manager position with
waiver is $213,566 annually; and
WHEREAS, employee compensation has been funded under the appropriate line
items in the budget as presented to the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it hereby confirms an annual salary of $213,566 for
the City Manager, effective pay period one of 2023.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 23rd day of May, 2023.
