1. EQC Orientation – Orientation will familiarize the members of the EQC with City policies, practices, member responsibility, and the
2010 Annual Plan.
2. Education Update – Education is a valuable tool for managing surface water in the City of Plymouth and is also a primary goal listed in
the Surface Water Management Plan. In addition to meeting the objectives set forth in the Mission/Organization statement, the EQC will
be updated on the City’s education efforts such as the Environmental Extra, Yard and Garden Expo, Environmental Quality Fair, etc…
3. SWPPP Update – The EQC will review and comment on the City’s SWPPP including the required incorporation of the Bass, Schmidt,
and Pomerleau TMDL and other TMDL’s if approved by EPA.
4. Annual Plants, Ponds, and Practices Tour – This tour, open to all residents and business’s, serves to provide an example of how best
management practices are incorporated throughout the City to protect surface water. Historically, this tour has visited rain gardens,
shoreline restorations, water quality ponds, erosion control projects, and construction sites
