R ESOLUTION A PPROVING “N O P ARKING” R ESTRICTIONS FOR THE S OUTH S IDE OF 34 TH
A VENUE F ROM P LYMOUTH B OULEVARD E AST 468 F EET
WHEREAS, visibility for motorists leaving driveways of 3300 Plymouth Boulevard is difficult when
vehicles are parked on portions of 34th Avenue; and
WHEREAS, visibility of pedestrians crossing 34th Avenue is reduced when vehicles are parked on
portions of the roadway and this area has a higher level of pedestrian activity; and
WHEREAS, to provide for the orderly movement of traffic and provide for the safety of the
public, staff is recommending that “No Parking” signage be placed on the south side of 34th Avenue
from Plymouth Boulevard to a point 468 feet east of the intersection of Plymouth Boulevard and 34th
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the owner of 3300 Plymouth Boulevard has indicated they are supportive of this
parking change.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the installation of “No Parking” signage is authorized on the south side of 34th
Avenue from Plymouth Boulevard to east 468 feet.
