R ESOLUTION N O. 2023-088
R ESOLUTION A CCEPTING D ONATION FROM THE
P LYMOUTH C RIME AND F IRE P REVENTION F UND
WHEREAS, the Fire Department has changed the model for medical treatment by providing access to
new technology and having Emergency Medical Technician trained personnel, improving its equipment and
training to better serve the Plymouth community; and
WHEREAS, the EleGARD patient positioning device is available and has shown to contribute to a
significant improvement in the chances for survival of cardiac arrest; and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Crime and Fire Prevention Fund has donated $18,000 for the purchase of
this equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the $18,000 donation from the Plymouth Crime and Fire Prevention Fund is accepted.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 30th day of March, 2023.
